  • MM Self Service upload failing

    We are using Self Service for an ADD environment. When we choose to just upload data, the upload is successful. When we choose to upload and process the data, the upload immediately fails. The file upload log has the following error:

    2016-11-22 08:57:29.1345 ERROR: An exception occurred while processing http://cld-evladd001:9000/api/FileUpload/Cancel.

    We have attempted an IIS Reset, Restarting the File Upload Service, and clearing the cache in Chrome. We have also tried uploading from a UNC Path verses a mapped drive. Do you guys have any other ideas?

    The error located in the log previous to this entry is:

    2016-11-22 13:45:10.3391 ERROR: An exception occurred while processing http://cld-evladd001:9000/api/FileUpload/Upload.
    System.Exception: Chunk upload 18 failed on chunk number 1. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Windows\system32\My Documents.zip.upload'.

    Which is a result of the following error that was found in ADDConfig.Enterprise.ErrorLogEntry:

    Case Product Environment property 'DataFolder' is not set for cpe 1

    DataFolder was inserted into the AddConfig database in version 16.3.1. During the database update this project most likely failed on this step. I manually inserted the data folder and you are good to go now.
